Breast density is a measure of the amount of breast tissue a woman has. The more tissue, the denser the breast - which has the potential to raise the risk for breast cancer. Dense breast tissue can make it difficult to effectively screen for cancer. We will discuss current imaging techniques and look at their potential or limitation for women with dense breasts.
